Mobility – Germany

29th may - 3th june 2022

About the Mobility

Information and aims

Finally, the time had come. After the long COVID19 break, the pupils could go on a journey and get to know each other personally. The partner countries each sent 6 children and 3 teachers to Germany, or rather to Neuenkirchen primary school. There, a varied, exciting and also educational programme awaited the children. Through projects and excursions, they also learned about nature in the country and how to protect it.

This group photo was taken in the Art Museum of Bremen. The children had already spent a few days together at this point and had already developed real friendships that still exist today.

Our Programm

All this happened

On the first day, we were greeted with a wonderful welcome party and the children received gifts from Germany.
They soon got to know each other through playing together.

FindIn the afternoon of the first day, we visited a swamp where the children examined micro-organisms.
A hike through the nature reserve was also included.

The next day we drove to the Northsea and were able to experience a mudflat hike there. Here, too, the children looked for creatures that live there in the mudflats.
In the afternoon we visited the Klimahaus in Bremerhaven. There, the children discovered not only many different animal and plant species, but also the climate zones and their characteristics.
On the third day, the children built an insect hotel and planted the school garden. Furthermore, they made picture frames out of natural materials such as branches and leaves.

The next day, it was off to Bremen. There we visited the Art History Museum.

In particular, the exhibition Art and Nature in Germany was visited. A museum employee explained important paintings to the children and how nature influenced them.

In the afternoon we went on a guided tour of Bremen. The children learned a lot about the city's traditions and also got to know the Bremen Stadtmusikaten.

Fun and games were also part of the excursion to Bremen.

On the same day, we unfortunately had to say goodbye again, as the journey home took place the next day. This farewell was celebrated with a delicious farewell dinner.
