Mobility – Bulgaria

25th September- 30th September 2022

About the Mobility

Information and aims

Our next trip was to Bulgaria. Again, six children and two or three teachers from each country were selected to travel to Koprivshtitsa. There, the school prepared a varied programme where the children were able to get to know not only the traditions of the country, but also nature and the cities.

This group photo was taken in Plodiv during the city tour. The slogan Together applies exactly to our project. Together we want to make a difference and together we want to make children aware of nature and the importance of protecting it.

Our Programm

All this happened

On the first day, we were greeted with a wonderful welcome party and the children received some special sweets of Bulgaria.
We were given a guided tour of the school and were allowed to see how lessons take place in Bulgaria. The school also prepared games for the children to play in the large playground.

The children could make a picture out of felt. This method is traditional for making carpets or murals.
On the same day, we visited a museum that showed us how life used to be in Bulgaria.

This monament was also visited on the same day. We walked up a hill from Koprivititsha.

The next day we attended a workshop where the children could bake a traditional Bulgarian bread themselves.

The pupils from the Bulgarian school prepared the play "The Bremen Town Musicians" in English.

The next day we visited the Natural History Museum in Plovdiv.

We also visited a zoo where the children were able to see bears. There was also a summer toboggan run, which was great fun for the children.

We visited the Plovdiv Museum, where the city's ancient remains and traditions are on display.

The city tour of Plovdiv was great fun for the children. They were able to see the city's sights and buildings.

The dinners together were very tasty. The final dinner was also great.
