Information about the project

„Nature is a treasure“ is a project that aims to help the people involved realize what they can do to save nature. We should all help reverse the process of climate change. We will try to learn together what each of us can change in our way of acting to help Nature and our planet become healthier. We will also investigate what are UN sustainable development goals.

This project will allow constant communication between the partner schools, which are also applying for an Erasmus+ project. If the Erasmus+ project is approved, this is where we will put all the information related to the project, as well as the results achieved, thus making its dissemination to the various school communities in each of the partner countries. Construction will start in April 2020, with teachers from the partner schools preparing for use with students from September 2020.

Our aims

That will happen

Know the natural heritage surrounding each partner school.- Understand the environmental problems that affect partner schools.

Learn from each other what each can do to help reduce environmental problems.

Find similarities and differences between the various cultures of the partner countries and encourage the building of a European culture.

Develop the ability to communicate in English.

Develop the skills of using technology.

Find new friends.

Work process

This is how it's done

Portugal and Austria will be responsible for starting the project and invite partners from Germany and Bulgaria to join it. Using photos, videos, texts, etc., we will make the presentation of the various schools to the partner schools, the presentation of each of the participating countries, the identification of the natural heritage surrounding each school and its main environmental problems, the forms of mobility most used in each of the partner countries, the results of research into renewable energy resources in each of the countries and research into the waste produced and what can be reduced, recycled or reused. It will also be here that the various suggestions from all project participants for building a more live world of pollution will be presented. Creativity will be encouraged in the search for solutions to the problems identified. We intend to encourage online meetings between the various partner schools, promoting the sharing of ideas and stimulating the use of the English language for conversation (all our students are starting to learn the English language).

Expected Results

That is how it ends

As the project progresses, many photos, videos, presentations made by students and their school communities will be added. We will have a lot of information about each of the schools, their countries, their natural heritage and the problems they face, and many suggestions on how each of us can contribute to reducing environmental problems. We will also improve the language and technological skills of students and teachers, as well as the habit of establishing distance working partnerships. We also hope that all those involved in the project will be able to come to value more the natural heritage of their communities, becoming active advocates of it.
